We Like Big Books and We Cannot Lie

Books are the best weapons in the world…arm yourself. Through reading, I hope prepare my students to go out and make a difference. By reading the books that I have selected, I hope that my… My students need 2 sets of books that will encourage them to look inside themselves and at the world around them in a new way while working to make a difference.

 Hi Tumblr.

First off, I hate asking people for money. If it was just for me, I’d suffer in poor, broke silence. However, it’s for my school. Specifically, my classroom. I’ve set up a project on Donorschoose.org to buy 2 sets of books for my classroom. 

What I hope will happen, because the power of social media is real, is that someones of you will see this and decide that my classroom sounds like an awesome place to lend a hand and donate just a little. (If you don’t like my project but still want to help out check out some of the other classrooms. :) ) 

I know that Tumblr is full of the awesome and has helped other teachers in the past, so please maybe, if you can, help this one too.

a kid from my school just got expelled today for pretending to be russian for 8 months. he pretended he couldn’t read, write or talk english  he did good in all his classes because he had all the teachers and principles convinced he just moved from russia, so they didn’t make him do any work
